6:30 A.M. to 7:45 A.M.: Race Day Registration/Packet Pickup
8:00 A.M.: Kids’ K Start
Kids’ Activities immediately after the Kids’ K
8:25 A.M.: Wheelchair/Hand-Cycle/Pushrim 5K race start
8:30 A.M.: Run/Walk Race Start
~8:45 A.M.: Post Race Party to follow the race.
For the safety of the runners, no strollers or pets please.

Race Course
This USATF Certified 5K (TX24011JH) course is fast and flat and includes 2 loops on Stella Link.
The course starts and ends on O’Meara Dr. in front of Avondale House.
Post Race Party
All runners will be treated to a post race party featuring food, soft drinks and beer after the race. There will be a Kids Activity Zone. Door prizes!!

- Wheelchair/Hand-Cycle/Pushrim participants registering online will be prompted for inclusion in this division during registration process.
- Register in person at Packet Pick-up (see dates, places and times below)
5K Entry Fees
- Early Bird Special through August 31, 2025: $30.00
- Early Registration from September 1 – October 7, 2025: $35.00
- Standard Registration (October 8 – 31, 2025): $40
- Late Registration (November 01, 2025, Race Day): $45.00
- Registration discount of $5 off available to all active HARRA members and PIM participants. (No additional discount on Early Bird Pricing)
- Note: Since this course is in a flood plain, the event may have to be modified or canceled due to weather. There will be NO REFUNDS.

- Early Registration Through November 31, 2025: $15
- Late Race Day Registration (November 01, 2025): $20.00

Awards
- Awards will be presented to the Overall Male & Female and 1st Place Masters Male & Female. In addition to a custom made award tile, each will receive $100 CASH!
- Age Division prizes will be awarded to the following 1st through 3rd place Male & Female finishers in the following categories: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and Older.
- Hand-Cycle/Wheelchair Division prizes for top male and female.
ALL AWARDS WILL BE BASED ON CHIP TIME.
Alex’s 5K is the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) Texas State 5K Championship
The Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) awards championship events through a competitive bidding process to shine a spotlight on well-run events and to award top performing runners in the open, masters (40+), grand masters (50+), and senior grand masters (60+), “ultra grand masters (70+), and wheel chair categories for both men and women. (These awards are given in addition to the race awards, so double-dipping allowed!)
